He wrapped his arm around her as they lay upon the cold, cement floor. Lilith sniffed, the trails of past tears drying upon her face, her watermelon sized stomach harboring the child of her own father. Wrath grit his teeth, frustration consuming him. How could he let this happen? he reflected. Of course, it was to help Lottie escape. He would've cursed her reckless behavior had he not witnessed a strange occurrence she displayed... a power not her own, used to break herself out... What has happened to you, Lottie?

Lilith nestled her head into Wrath's shoulder, clinging to his warmth. He glanced down at her; her eyes were closed, hiding those vibrant emerald eyes. Sweet, low breaths escaped her luscious, pale pink lips; her equally pink hair falling lightly over her face. He rested his head on Lilith's, a honey like scent consuming him. It was the purest smell within the prison cell and he closed his eyes, concentrating only on Lilith's sweet smell for comfort.

  1. Lilith suddenly awoke with a jolt as the babe kicked within her. It brought with it all the horrid memories of their capture.
Charlotte had some broken out but Wrath and her remained. She couldn't wrap her mind around it.
They had been doing fine, Wrath fought up front while Lilith guided Charlotte, brining up the rear. Then. . . Akira showed up. Wrath was sure he was there to fight against them yet he tackled Ahvid. They fought furiously, giving them a chance to escape. It all went down hill when Ahvid drew Akira's blood. Charlotte lost it, a sudden wave of unnatural energy bursting out of her. It was powerful enough to throw Wrath and Lilith across the room, leaving them stunned. Charlotte threw a wave of energy at Ahvid knocking him out in one hit. She grabbed Akira and ran. Lilith's gaze found Wrath as he struggled to regain control over himself, it wasn't until she saw his eyes go wide with shock that she noticed Ahvid near her, her grabbed her by the throat lifting her effortlessly.
Lilith shook her head, snapping back into the present, wishing that she were somewhere else, her only comfort was Wrath, his presence sent a false sense of security within her. She cast a small glance at her swollen stomach. . . a startled gasp left her as she felt it move once more. Tears stung her eyes as she wished for death.

  2. He would kill him; the next time Ahvid even though about touching Lilith he would murder him where he stood. He grasped onto Lilith tighter, cursing himself that he couldn't protect her.
She had been lifted from her feet, Wrath rushed forward to her only to have her thrown at him. The force threw them up against the wall, Lilith had been knocked unconscious. Wrath struggled beneath her to free himself and attack Ahvid, but his attempts were cut short as Ahvid knelt in front of him. Wrath opened his mouth to threaten him but stopped before he could even make a sound as Ahvid struck into his shoulder.
Reminded of the event, his shoulder stung slightly and he shrugged off the pain. Yes... he had been left breathless and bleeding, that one moment where his guard was down caused him to watch as Ahvid took Lilith away as feeble henchmen brought Wrath to his cell. And all that time they had stayed here, for what seemed like eternity, watching as Lilith's baby grew. They would never get out, he thought, and he had resigned himself to this resolve for the longest time.

  3. She couldn't stand being weak in from of Wrath. She hated it. She moved away from him and came to her feet. Wrath was immediately at her side lending his support. She gave a heavy sigh and a small yelp escaped her. She looked down as the pain began to roll in.
"No. . . no.. Wrath!" His name came out as a gasp as she lost her strength and fell back down, Wrath caught her easily.
She squeezed her eyes shut attempting to cope with the pain. Instantly she was in her soldier mind set. Her breaths were calm and even, she gritted her teeth a couple of times as the contractions became stronger. One. . . two. . . three. . . . She pushed the pain aside. This is just as if you were wounded in a battle Lilith except it hurts a lot more and you get stuck with the consequences. Her thought shocked her but she no longer cared.
"Lilith?" Wrath's voice brought her back, she opened her eyes. A moan left her as the pain became nearly unbearable yet she did not scream. Not yet.

  4. He saw the reflection of pain in her eyes and, with a desperate gasp escaping the safe hold of her lips, knew what was happening. She squinted her eyes in attempt to contain the pain of the contractions. Immediately, Wrath grasped her hand.
"Lilith, listen to me," he ordered, trying to remain calm for her. "You can't stop the pain unless you push. Alright? Listen to me, you have to help the baby out." Lilith nodded furiously, clenching onto Wrath's hand with all her might. He didn't flinch at the pressure, instead helping her as much as possible with his other hand.

  5. Just listen to Wrath. . . just push. Lilith tried her hardest but fear froze her. Never before had she ever been in a situation as this. You can slap her right in the middle of a war and she would fight. She could fight a thousand men and yet child birth struck fear into her heart like nothing else. Eventually the pain built up and she cried out. Wrath squeezed her hand, silently reminding her she had to push but she shook her head at him. "I'm scared Wrath. . . please. . . don't make me." She saw a flash of pain and anger cross his eyes.
"Listen to me Lilith," His voice was soft yet firm, "You have to push. There is no other alternative. Push Lilith." Tears stung her eyes as she did so. She pushed with all her might , but no progress that she could see was made.
Tears streamed down her cheeks as it became increasingly harder to breathe. No Lilith, don't you dare. Pull yourself together and push dammit!
And she did, she pushed with all her might, crying out occasionally as the contractions came closer and closer together.

  6. It was as if the labor dragged out forever before Wrath could see the crown of the baby's head. He briefly clenched Lilith's hand, encouraging her to continue.
"It's almost over, Lilith," he said, switching his gaze to Lilith's and saw the small spark of relief in them from his words. He drew a small, comforting smile her way before returning his attention to the babe.

  7. Her last scream was agonizing as she felt the pressure finally begin to alleviate. Her breaths were labored as she heard the soft cries of the new babe. Wrath held it in his arms and she saw a flicker of emotion cross his eyes as he looked around for something to wrap the babe in. Lilith merely lay there, she felt. . . nothing for the babe... how could her mother do this? How was she able to bear looking at the sin Lilith knew she was. She looked away from them. . . maybe. . . the babe would be better off with another family?

  8. Wrath removed his shirt, unable to find anything else suitable to keep the child warm. He brought it closer for Lilith to hold but she shied away, not even sparing the babe a single glance.
"Lilith?" he asked, perplexed. The babe cried in his arms, cold and hungry, yet Lilith did not dare move to care for it. Wrath held the child in one hand and with his other caressed Lilith's cheek.
"Lilith... you and I are the same. We both understand the gravity of our existences... but we were accepted all the same. And did not the love of our parent bring us joy regardless of our sins?" She glanced into his gaze, his understanding, pain, and sorrow reflecting her own. She finally looked down upon the child, and she was startled as it looked right back.
"This child can have a life like that, too... And I'll help you." Her attention returned to Wrath and was lost within the sincerity of his gaze.

  9. She held back the tears that threatened to take her. The very thought of raising a child with Wrath sent a shiver of excitement through her. . . but she could never give the love that he spoke of. That was her fear. She would not be able to protect it from those who look down on bastard children. The memories of her past came rushing in and she had to look away from Wrath.
"Wrath. . . I . . . I can't. It will be better off in another home. Where it will not know its past, its mother or its. . . "She couldn't bring herself to say the word 'father'. Ahvid was no father, he was a bastard whom took advantage of her weakness.
Without waiting for his answer she took the child in her arms and proceeded to feeding it. She had made up her mind. . . now she just had to get them out of the cursed place.

  10. "Oh damn. For a moment, I thought she would've died." Wrath stood and turned to the direction of the voice and ice shot through his spine seeing who it was. He growled at the woman who dared call herself his mother. Míolra smiled, surveying his appearance as she moaned.
"How cruel you should bear his resemblance," she sighed. She snapped her fingers and at once two guards were at her side. "Take him to my room," she commanded. Wrath poised himself to attack as they stepped toward him.
"Wrath!" warned Lilith, though it was too late. Distracted by one guard, the other took the opportunity to bind his hands while the first kicked him to the ground. Wrath lied pinned upon the ground by his injured shoulder, struggling to be free when the woman walked to and towered above him. She knelt down beside him and licked the freshly drawn blood from his wounds. She cackled delightfully at his glare.
"Take him to my room," she repeated, her eyes flashing as she glided a hand over his bare chest.

  11. Lilith's screams of protest grew fainter as he was whisked away by the guards, with Míolra following closely behind. They walked through mazes of corridors before finally arriving at the room and throwing him inside. His hands and ankles bound, along with the pain of his re-wounded shoulder, Wrath lacked the strength to stand from where he lye.
Without warning, without hesitation, Míolra straddled herself on Wrath's torso and claimed his lips. He attempted to break free until her nails dug deep into his open wound and this would become a regular sign for when something displeased her. His mind screamed for release, cursing her existence in every manner possible as he felt utter disgust for his so-called mother. She kept one hand firmly in place on his shoulder, the other gliding down his abdomen and unzipping his pants.
His body betrayed him as the gluttonous kiss and strokes made him erect. He screamed out in frustration as she took hold of him, and her nails once more clenched his shoulder. He damned her and he damned himself with every claim, every orgasm their bodies had aroused, and he wished for death to consume him. Anything... Anything but this!

  12. Lilith sat in a corner with the babe in her arms. Tears streamed down her face as she thought of what Wrath could be going through. Please. . . please be ok Wrath. As if to answer the door swung open and a bleeding Wrath was thrown in. She cried out when he didn't move. "Wrath!" The door slammed shut.
Lilith placed the child down and rushed to his side.
"Wrath, oh God, what happened to you?" He was very much conscious. His beautiful blue eyes, so vibrant and loving were now dull. He looked absolutely destroyed. She stood, mustering all her strength she pulled him away from the door and set him in the farthest corner where she set the child. It cried at Wrath's sudden presence but she ignored its cries. She tended to the horrid wound on his shoulder. She bound it with strips of cloth she tore from her pants.
"You are going to be ok Wrath, you are going to be fine." Even as she said this hope began to drain from her.
Then the door swung open once more, Lilith spun to face the attacker and all her blood turned to ice when she saw who it was.
"Time to please me once more Lilith." Ahivd said. Lilith could only let out a startled gasp as he grabbed a fistful of her hair and brought her up to him.

  13. And he snapped. The combined cries of Lilith and her babe set loose a burning flame of pure and utter hatred. He felt nothing else, his vision blanketed in a veil of red. Nothing mattered but the undying desire to kill the man who dare touch his Lilith.
In barely the time it took to blink, Wrath grasped Ahvid's wrist that held Lilith and angled himself as he kicked Ahvid in the side of his face, sending him flying to the other side of the cell. Guards rushed to the entryway, their approach halted as Wrath severed their heads. Blood stained the floors of the cell as more henchmen foolishly attempted to stop Wrath.
"W-Wrath!" called a fearful Lilith. His gaze turned to her's; blank, concentrating only on the notion of killing, Wrath's eyes reflected a growing deep crimson as the fire within became more fierce. She gasped and the child in her arms cried, terrified. Wrath blinked at the noise, recalling shreds of his mind and sanity. Lilith... I have to get them out of here!
He reached for her arm and pulled her to her feet and whispered, "Stay close to me" as he cleared a path for them through the corridors and corpses of the enemy.

  14. Lilith held the babe close to her as Wrath tore apart guard after guard. Did he know where he was going? She had to wonder but right now she held on to the notion he did. She didn't want to be here any longer. She didn't want Ahvid to ever touch her again. The memories began to bombard her and she struggled to remain calm. She became distracted and slipped on a pool of blood. She cried out as she could not cushion the fall because of the babe. Wrath met her frightened gaze briefly before turning his attention back to the rushing guards in front. He tried to get close to her but the guards would not have it.
Lilith gritted her teeth and brought herself to her feet.
Come on Lilith, move!. She was up and moved back to Wrath. He moved forward once more, this time Lilith took extra care to concentrate.
Hours passed or was it minutes? She didn't know. She was beyond the ready to leave this cursed place! And as if Wrath knew her thoughts he burst through one last door and they were outside. Lilith let out a shaky laugh of joy as she thought, we did it. We are out!
